While the new moves weren't an absolute necessity

I could use Metamorphosis to transform into a hulking Demon and leap high into the air before smashing down into the ground, causing a flurry of shock to enemies in close proximity. The Demon Hunter was rarely stationary in combat, and it certainly made combat feel more lively.

With Illidan at the forefront once again in WOW WOTLK Classic Gold the newest expansion called Legion, I wondered whether the connections with the Night Elf antihero and introduction of the brand new Demon Hunter class would be enough to propel me back into peak World of Warcraft .

The Demon Hunter class is available to both Alliance with Horde factions. They are visually distinct through the Night Elf and Blood Elf versions, respectively. Perhaps the most distinctive characteristic in The Demon Hunter class is its ability to double jump and glide, slowing falls and getting a class-exclusive technique to lessen the fall damage.

That newfound mobility the Demon Hunter brings to the MMO could be used to start the class in the initial area, but I found that it wasn't an essential for advancing through the questline. Other than a few higher platforms and ledges, the same terrain meant that there wasn't a huge need to jump twice and glide across the initial zone.

But, gliding and jumping aren't just the most powerful tools within the arsenal of the Demon Hunter. The class also provides greater agility during combat. For instance, dashing to do damage to anything you come across with Fel Rush, or taking an explosive backwards leap to avoid attacks from timed enemies using Vengeful Retreat. I could use Metamorphosis to transform into a hulking Demon and leap high into the air before smashing down into the ground, causing a flurry of shock to enemies in close proximity. The Demon Hunter was rarely stationary in combat, and it certainly made combat feel more lively.

While the new moves weren't an absolute necessity for the first area of play, using them as an addition to the Demon Hunter's combat abilities brought an agile feel hitherto not present in WoW. It was extremely satisfying to gather multiple mobs together, dash through them using Fel Rush, stun and slay them using Metamorphosis before doubling-jumping and then glide off to cheap WOTLK Gold another enemy. I was always on the move--a marked change from the static nature of conventional World of Warcraft combat.
